Helped shape excellent board participants through educational presentation on marketing to members of SmARTboard. SmARTboard was developed by United Arts of Central Florida to provide professionals in Central Florida with the skills needed to be a valuable board member of a nonprofit cultural organization.

Instrumental in creating VLOG featuring local artists involved in each event.

Summer/Fall 2006 Artist/Designer/Participant

The Urban Forest Project, NYC (World Studio & AIGA New York)

Enhanced the beauty of Times Square by participating as one of 186 artists and designers selected worldwide to display banners in New York City's Times Square. Each banner depicted the artist's image of a tree to draw attention to good design in the form of a creative forest, and also represented a call to action in terms of the environment. Other designers involved were Milton Glazer, Paula Scher, Michael Beirut, Debbie Millman, Massimo Vignelli, Armin Vit & Ward Sutton, among others.

Visual Fringe, Orlando International Fringe Festival, Orlando, FL

Made the Visual Fringe an important, visible, lucrative and highly anticipated part of the Orlando Fringe Festival by securing venue for the annual ten day event (1st two years only), coordinating & educating community artists in order to facilitate their participation in the exhibition; other responsibilities include: train and staff gallery during event, install exhibition, actively promote art sales, be accessible at all times during festival to answer questions and assist in art sales, promote artists, procure awards from local businesses for awards ceremony, participate in VLOGs, radio and TV interviews to promote event, assist Executive Director in marketing/publicizing the Visual Fringe, participate in fund raising events throughout the year. act as liaison between artists and patrons.

Helped revitalize the over-a-decade-old event by establishing unique themes, curating exhibitions with curating committee, coordinating press/marketing materials with design agency and/or OMA marketing staff, securing musical entertainment and caterer, designing artwork for marketing material, composing press release for exhibition, organizing artists and performers, marketing exhibit through various social media outlets and print, radio and TV, sometimes employing the services of a stage manager and production manager, designing floor plan of show in 1st Thursdays gallery, installing show with volunteers, attending each event, networking artists with event photographer and other contacts, interacting with museum patrons.
